Skip the brush setup, just get the spray.Sep 04, 2010
By Benjamin Bullis Im not sure how clean people expect their chains to get, but I expected a whole lot better than what this brush contraption did. Honestly after trying it a few times I gave up using the brush bit and just used the spray. The cleaner itself was very good, the brush bit was useless. Spray + Old Tooth Brush + Rag = Much cleaner chain & gears.

I give this two thumbs way up. It does what it claims. It cleans out all the gunk an your chain, gears, etc. You dint have to rinse or anything. But, i found it at Walmart cheaper so you might want to look there. I used this stuff then used the lube by the same brand so that I could clear the sticky gunk on my bike and replace it with something that doesnt stain and shifts better. I really liked the way this stiff worked.

It cleans well, but be prepared it can get messy. You need a bike stand as trying to use as someone rolls or holds the bike up just doesn't work. Go slow and spray a little at a time. The fluid collects and slings everywhere if you get too ambitious. Have a shop rag ready.
