For little kid bikes?Jan 08, 2011

First off, I don't know squat about kickstands and somewhat blindly (well, i knew the frame size) thought this would work for my wife's bike. Apparently it's for tiny bikes b/c the stand length is so incredibly short, it won't work on even the smallest adult bikes.
On it's own merit, it seems well made and has multiple positions that allow some flexibility of use. However, it is surprisingly heavy, especially if you're going to be putting it on a small and light bike.

great alternative to traditional kickstandMay 20, 2011

Ordered this for my sons mongoose bike and had put on old style in middle and lasted about a month and then fell apart. The new rear axle one looks and feels very heavy duty and so far has outlasted the other one easilly. Now I have to keep telling him that the kickstand is not a fancy decoration and that it actually will keep his bike upright and not on its side in the driveway or yard. Over all great product and would recommend . Fast shipping and good price as well. Also product made in the USA !

Heavy Duty, for 16" tireMay 16, 2011
By 3skid3 I needed a rear kick stand for my 16" fold-a-bike. This was the ticket. Very heavy duty, easy to mount, and sized for a small tire bike. Also because the leg is solid, you can always cut down the leg a bit to suit how much lean you want on the bike.

Simple, SolidAug 31, 2009
By B. Horton Very well made. One nut on one bolt to attach. Easy to align. It's a little odd, but the leg can be stored forward or back of the axle (only back makes sense on small bikes like these). The force required to open/close the leg can be a little much at first. It recommends the use of a lubricant to help (I used white lithium grease).
This one is very solid and built to last. No adjustments or extra screws to work loose.
I recommend this over others.
with it came for 26" bikesNov 20, 2011
By bandazar Didn't fit my 26" mountain bike.. yeah I know.. should have known better. But I did like the design. Mainly because my mountain bike spring system tends to make the kickstand fall down when I go over bumps sometimes. I did come up with a solution though.. don't know if it will work over the long term, but we will see. Got a short spring tension rod (from the curtains section of any major department store), and 7/16 to 29/32 clamps that I found in the plumbing section of lowes, and also a greenfield kickstand foot, and now it does fit. Although not as stable as I like with a regular kickstand.
