If your are tall, wide and tired of riding with a kink in your neck. I suggest giving these bars accompanied with a threadless stem extension and get back to enjoying long comfortable rides sitting up and taking in the scenery. You will have to change out the rear shifter and brake cables and make them longer. (Use the old rear cables for your front controls) KUDO's to WALD!!!!!!!!!!

most handel bars have some texture whare the bars meet the neck these bars just have smooth paint i was riding down hill when the bars slipt forword i almost heart my self very bad i would not reckamend them

I bought these as a replacement for the cheap, bendy, bullhorn bars that came on my cruiser. These bars are great. They are strong, cheap and offer better control than the stock bars did. As a plus these are 30" across so if you have broad shoulders like I do you won't feel cramped as you might if you were using bars that are too narrow. The 8038 is heavy but, I have no doubt they will not bend under normal or even hard use. Niagara did a good job of getting these to me in a timely manner I would definitely buy from them again.
