Great Handlebars at a Great PriceOct 08, 2008
By L. Harthorn I replaced the straight handlebars on my cross bike for these bars to change my hand posiiton and also raise my riding position. These bars were just long enough to mount my handbrakes and twist-grip shifters along with 90mm grips. Nice chrome plating and even though they are steel instead of alloy, the extra weight is minimal. Plus, if you decide you don't like them, you don't have a huge amount invested in them.

Wald Steel Handlebar #8095Aug 10, 2009

Just the right replacement for the straight handlebar found on most mountain bikes. The ride is most comfortable now, due to the more natural slant back and slight rise in height. Also makes adding other accessories like speedometer and headlight possible. Note* I do not ride down mountains with this gear, mainly back country roads and trails.

Hand Numbness GoneFeb 04, 2007
By wild animals These handlebars are great! Before these, I was using handlebars that were almost flat, and I was having a lot of hand and wrist problems. I started using these bars and the hand numbness went away altogether. The bars look nice, too. They're made of steel instead of aluminum, which makes them heavier, but also makes them better at damping road noise, which is a big cause of hand numbness.
Try these before you spend a lot of money on fancy japanese handlebars :)
Big improvementMar 31, 2010

I used this to replace the almost-straight handlebar on my city bike that was making my wrists ache and was rusting through its faux-alloy finish. I prefer a narrow bar though, so I sawed off an inch on each end. Good price, and a big improvement - but I hope it doesn't rust too fast.

HandlebarAug 25, 2008
By R. Hughes I received the order more quickly than expected. The handlebar was exactly as described. I would definintely do business with Niagara again.
