The construction is nice and works for schrader and presta but I cannot get my road bike tires to the correct psi. The valve seating is convertible to presta and will get you about 80% of the way, but it's very hard to keep the presta open AND push more air into the tube. I am grown man and certainly strong enough to pop the tube if only I could secure the pump on the valve. This pump leaks air and makes it hard to know when you've got it set right. Keep shopping.

I have carried this pump on my bike for ten years now. I only use it on Schrader valves, so how it works with Presta is not an issue for me. It has an elegantly simple design, and has performed flawlessly year after year. I'm very impressed. Great performance and reliability at a bargain price.
