It is a good solid piece of brass, and sturdy. does not do presta automatically still need a sherader adapter that is included but it was an OEM replacement to my stock head even includes clamp pictured. I would recommend this product.

This is a very good chuck made of solid and heavy brass. It works well on Presta valves (as well as Schraders with the supplied screw on adapter). However, as other reviewers have noted, the fit can be very tight and you have to take care when pulling it off. I have just purchased a Topeak Smarthead chuck which has a much smoother removal action (it has a clamping lever which holds and releases the valve) and seals just as well as the brass chuck when on the valve.

I bought two of these for my garage, to use on bicycle tires. I have a decent compressed air setup with multiple hard piped drops to a central compressor. I assembled these heads to some harbor freight squeeze needle valve assemblies with the pressure indicator and integral 12" long rubber hose. All that went AOK, the integral barb fitting on the Topeak was a bit small but the worm gear clamp that came with it allowed me to squeeze the rubber hose over the barb snuggly.
my biggest grips is that the seal on the presta tube stem is way to tight. When I remove the chuck, it feels like I'm going to rip the tube stem right out of the tube. I do have the screw cover backed all the way out, for a loose seal. This issue will eventually work it's way out as the gasket wears out but out of the box, this item is no where as smooth as the many silca pumps I've used in the past (new and old both).
For the money, it's a unique and quality piece. I would buy again but there are some minor issues to be aware of.

Product works well for Presta valves and it should last a life time. It is very easy to install on your existing pump. To use all you do is push on the valve and pump.

This is a very well made product that is heavy duty and will probably last a lifetime. I purchased one last year for my son's failed bicycle pump, and another one this year for my pump.
I would reccomend this product and give it the highest review.
