For the "got gear" gal or guy!Oct 10, 2007

"Sterling Silver tri gal"
After falling in love with triathlons, I looked at many different bags. The one thing I couldn't face was a large black hole that everything disappeared into. My final decision was for the TYR. It has multiple interior pockets for shoes, wet/dry divider, bottom mesh wetsuit area, etc., plus it zips open. That's my kind of bag!

Tyr Transition BagDec 16, 2009
By D. Crabtree Very nice transition bag. I bought one for myself in 2007 and another this year as a gift. Lots of room, great pockets, area for wet gear. Helps me keep organized and I don't worry about forgetting anything prior to a tri.
Not as well made as one would hopeSep 23, 2011
By Kudzu Kannibal Not sure I am a huge fan of the layout of the pack, although it does serve its purpose. The downside, unfortunately, is it has started to fall apart barely a year and a half after buying it. I had a Speedo pack last me over 12 years, going through a plethora of abuse and this bag is already starting to tear. I'll give it four stars for design, but deduct two for poor craftsmanship. Hope others have had better luck, but it is not like I throw this thing around or it fell off the back of a truck. I have to think the sun and hot weather caused the issue at hand. Will start using my Gregory Backpack from now on.

The dry bag started to rip at the end of the zipper right away.
