By 10thmountainman just as the title states. they don't slip too easily but make sure you don't tilt them side to side or they will slip. park makes a similar tool that has the fixer on it, would have been cheaper for me to buy that one, but oh well, just ordered the fixer cause they dont come with the cranks anymore

By Dr. Rob If you have s Shimano bottom bracket with Hollowtech II bearings, you need this tool because nothing else will get them out. This tool has one, and ONLY one, purpose in life, and it's to get that bottom bracket off. So, if your splines are of the Hollowtech II type, this is the tool you need. Shimano has parts that only they make, and unfortunately for us bike wrenches, that means lots of $$'s spent buying tools just for their proprietary parts. It is what it is. If you don't have this tool, good luck servicing the bottom bracket.
a must have tool!Jan 13, 2011
By Edward D. Poole I purchased this wrnch to install a Shimano Hollowtech II bottom bracket on my bike, there is no real way to install without the tool, get one!
