You can't beat these for doing an upgrade on the cheap for an old freewheel-equipped bike with upright bars. Easy for the casual rider to use, and the front lever even works with a SunTour triple.

These shifters are perfect for the price. I needed to replace the shifters on a used bike with otherwise working derailers. I easily installed the new shifters, and I have used them for a year now with great pleasure.

These Shimano SL-TY22 Shift levers are new and will work great! They came in a reasonable amount of time and the cost was lower than expected. These are hard to find outside of the high end bike shops.
