5GOOD REPLACMENTApr 29, 2011
By Cory "Cory G"
Good rear derailleur. I replaced my old Shimano tourney with this one. I saw my friends fairly new Trek 3900 so I decided to buy that derailleur because if its on an expensive bike, the parts are usually good and not cheap. I am pairing this with a Schwinn Sidewinder with Shimano ST-EF50 21 speed shifters. (3 X 7) they work well. Barley took any time to tune. Also a note if you have taken off your chain to do this and you chain makes a noise after its not properly tuned or you chain link is stiff and you just need to apply lubricants and make it so i moves freely. If you take this to a bike shop and have them do it for you they'll only charge $10 or $15, I live in MA and I know the High expensive bike places and the "not" so great bike places. All the repair shops are good I am just saying that they are all great just some are cheap price but good work. OVerall great buy

4Shimano Acera Rear DerailleurNov 08, 2011

This a a good derailleur at a good price. I put this derailleur on a GMC Denali that I bought for scrap at a local bike shop. The derailleur is perfect for the person looking to make a replacement on their derailleur for a moderately cheap bike.

4Easy on the wallet......Jun 21, 2011

For the money, it's a great piece! It's obviously not high end, but I ride MTB with it and it totally does the job. If you're looking for something decent for almost no money, this is your guy.

4Good for the commuterJan 17, 2011
By Brent Gillespie
This is a great inexpensive derailleur to slap on the commuter. It does not take an avid cyclists to put this on and adjust, especially with the directions and help from online sources. It has done its job just fine and keeps the commuter at a low cost in parts.
