Bike fenderJul 06, 2010
By Timothy O'brien I really like this product but can't get past the factor of cost! I found that the quality of the product is good but it's 3 times as much as any other fender out there of equal type. I guess you have to spend a lot to get a good product but I just think that there could be somthing as good for less. With as many people as there are out there using bikes for commuting you would think someone would be hitting that market hard with competetive brands, but there are not a lot to choose from for full suspension mnt bikes.
Pa commuter!

great and lightweight, but mounting track weakest pointFeb 24, 2011
By Alain I've owned this for a little over a year (as well as rear sks Xdry) but only used it a dozen times or so (try to avoid muddy/raining days as it's not good for the trails). Mounts great on my 6" fork, and takes second to put and take off, and stays during bumpy downhills and jumps (I like rough decent). Maybe a bit narrow for my 2.4 front tire though it's kept most of the mud off my face (still some on lower legs) so I might try what appears to be slightly wider shockblade 26.
Only issue has been (and I remember that the first time I put it on thinking that might be the weak part) is the sliding track to mount is all plastic and rather thin. Well, second time I put my bike in my friend's pickup truck (wheel outside) and the fender catches another bike and broke at the track. Called customer service who is sending me a replacement which is very nice, so I will give this another try. But I'm thinking the metal mounting version of the grand D.A.D (which I will likely get for my DH bike with 2.7 tire) and Shockblade vario might be a safer choice. Wish they had metal mounting track, but otherwise same design, as this is the weak spot IMO.

Great for Cannondale bikesNov 11, 2010
By adesgeorges Great fenders for Cannodale bikes with the Fatty headshock. You just need to buy the little adaptor. http://www.amazon.com/Cannondale-Headshock-Adaptor-SKS-Shockboard/dp/B0019HHFDI/ref=cm_cr_wr_img Otherwise good and lightweight.

Adequate - but better for cheaper is availableApr 24, 2008
By Diego El Cheapo Purchased the Shockboard Fender for my wife's Diamondback. The salesman at the bike shop noting it was good German design should have put me on notice. The body is single piece, so fender assembly and tire removal is hampered with having to wrestle the full fender through and around the brake assembly.
This product was over double the price of the comparable Topeak fender, which also installed in less than 5 minutes, than 15 for the SKS unit. If you travel with your bike and are constantly pulling the front tire off, this may not be your best option.
a bit pricey but worth itFeb 14, 2012
By nitro it was super easy to install and very stable. i have been using them for 4 month now in winter mod and rain. They are doing a great job. i bought a set for both front and rear .
