My mountain bike really gave me a pounding before I added this shock absorber to the seat. I notice a difference having it on. It took 10 minutes to install.

The Promax Suspension Seatpost 25.4 x 350mm Silver/Black is a fantastic addition to any budget minded consumer's hardtail. It feels like a solid seatpost until you hit the bumps that normally would make you feel it every time you sat down for the next week. That's when it seems to give and absorb the majority of the impact. If you want more of a full suspension feel in the seat of your pants, consider the more expensive hinged posts, but for an effective and less expensive solution, this seatpost is more than adequate.
