I'm giving it one star because I can't give it less.
Plastic hose, plastic valve, plastic tongue that depresses the tire valve.
These are the things that break on bike pumps, so who cares if the rest of it is steel?!
Oh, did I mention it won't pump air? It won't attach firmly and flies off the tire valve at first pump.
The "ergonomic" handle is quite uncomfortable... but I could live with that if the pump worked!
I wish some company would make a true all-metal pump.

Don't be fooled by the negative recommendation you see on this site. This is an excellent pump. I have bikes with presta and schrader valves, and it works great with BOTH - there is a special hole for each, so you don't have to buy an adapter for presta valves. A nice feature is the easy to read pressure dial, with an arrow indicator that lets you easily see when you've reached the proper pressure. The handle is comfortable and it pumps fast. I have only had it for three or so months, so I cannot attest to its durability over the long term, but it seems to be a sturdy product. Well worth the investment.

I've been using this pump for a motorcycle and a scooter - does the job nicely... On a sportbike each psi takes three or four pumps. There is a built-in pressure gauge which doesn't have enough increments to get a precise reading but it's good enough to get me in the ballpark, then I remove the hose and use a hand held tire gauge to correct the pressure.

Planet Bike ST Bicycle Steel Bike Floor Pump with Love Handle Good solid pump with fairly accurate pressure guage. Doesn't seem to get a lot of volume with each stroke, but gets up to pressure relatively easily. Locking head works easily and the"love handle" is easy on the palms. Fairly heavy, but very strong.

I was greatly surprised and pleased when I received this pump. It arrived in a timely manner, well packaged and ready to go to work straight out of the box. For someone needing quick access to air for bike, wheel barrel, and even auto tires, this is the product.
