3Good for < 50 milesAug 25, 2009
By Lindsay M. Mcginley "TurkeyVolvo"
Just to let you know where I'm coming from, I'm an amateur triathlete. I've done 1 half ironman distance, 2 olympic, and 4 sprints. I'm currently training for a full ironman, and I was starting to go CRAZY on my old saddle once I reached +50 miles from soft tissue problems.

I tried this as my first cutaway saddle, and it's great for rides <40 miles. It completely rid me of my soft tissue pressure. The drawback is that it doesn't fit my sit bones, and the sides of the nose really start irritating me after 40 miles. So while my soft tissue has not problems, now pretty much every area is in pain.

My sit bones are 6.5" apart when in the aero position, which is too wide for this saddle. I would strongly suggest that you measure your sit bones if you use aero bars. This saddle is best for the normal sitting position. It's still an upgrade from my last one, though!

I bought this seat and is not bad but I wouldn't buy it again. Is kind of painful in the groin. I'm going to try other seats.

5Love this saddleMay 25, 2009

So glad I bought this seat. I could barely stay on my bike for 5 miles before without being so uncomfortable from burning pressure. This seat, and I am referring to the anatomic part of the design, has relieved all of that. Even 25 miles not a problem. Get one!
