Easy to useJul 04, 2011
By P. Chuang This the third mini pump that I've tried. I think I finally got it right. Small enough to fit in the back pocket. check Secured locking of presta valves. Check (This is a key feature that I look for. Secure locking of the valve stem frees up a hand for me to hold the body of the pump. This crucial to get the pressure up to 80+ psi, which is enough to get me home.) Flip-out handle fits well in hand. Check Relatively light. Check Sturdy after 1 year of use. Check.

amazing pump. Park Tools makes the best tools.Jul 25, 2010
By Norm De Plume This pump does exactly what you need a compact emergency bicycle pump to do - inflate the repaired or replacement inner tube while on the road (or trail). It's small, lightweight, folds up compactly making it easy to store in a saddle bag or attach to the bike frame. I can't remember, but I'm almost positive this came with brackets to allow the latter. I've got a Top Peak bike rack with hard cover bag and just keep this in there with my spare tube, repair kit, tools and lock.
This will work with either type of the valve. Getting to about 30 psi, is virtually effortless, after that, you'll have to work it a little bit.
A must have accessory.
For Emergency Only!Aug 21, 2011
By Thundercats Great compact pump. BUT it should be an emergency only pump because it takes forever to pump a tire a little before the ride. It's really light and nice. Very well made and I'm very happy.

Broke on First UseApr 30, 2011
By Bryan My Park Tool PMP-3 broke on the very first use. The screw on cap that contains the nozzle completely blew out and to add insult to injury the nozzle part stayed on my tire completely deflating the tire before I could get it pried off.

Broke on first useDec 07, 2010
By Orange Luckily for me I decided to try this out before strapping it onto my bike and heading out--it broke on the very first test pump.
That aside, I was surprised to discover that I really didn't like the way the handle is not at least near-ish center. This made pumping awkward and (assuming it hadn't broken) would probably result in decreased efficiency.
