Great stand for the do-it-yourself mechanic.Dec 09, 2009
By Ben Smukler I checked out some of the less expensive bike repair stands in local stores and did not like the wobbly construction or the clamping mechanism. I also looked at the less expensive Park Tool model. It would work well, I am sure, but I noticed that the clamp on this model is nearly identical to the commercial model used in my local bike shop. Also, the legs--which fold together when not in use--offer a very stable footing when the bike is in place. The stability is further enhanced by the fact that the rubber end caps are eccentric, allowing you to adjust them individually to counter any irregularities or slope in the floor.
As with all the Park Tool products I have tried out, the Deluxe model is solidly designed and constructed and will doubtless outlast its original owner.

Park Tools are first classJun 11, 2010

This is a great stand, sturdy, well made and versatile. I use it for a heavy electric assist aluminum bike and it holds the bike very steady at a wide variety of heights. If you are going to get a stand and especially if you have a heavy bike, this is the best home stand I was able to find and can not say enough how much I like it. By the way, Park is a first class company. When I received the stand, it was scratched in shipping and they sent me replacement parts to make it right with no hassle or problems. five star all the way.

Excellent Bike StandAug 25, 2010
By JT This stand is everything I want in a repair stand. The clamp is the same as the bike shop uses. That's what sold me to buy the better model. Very stable. very strong. You can turn your bike upside down or even 90 degrees and the swivel joint holds tight without slipping. The handlebar holder accessory is nice, too. I wish I had bought the tool tray accessory.

Great standDec 12, 2009
By Terry Crock I like this stand mainly because it is taller than many stands. You can get your bike's drive train, or brakes, or whatever right up to face level to make it easier to work on. This is not a good stand if you plan to work sitting down because it might not go as low as you want it too (though you could cut it if you really need to). However, it is a great stand to use if you work standing up. Everything on the stand works well. The bike clamp is especially good. It is also a very stable stand, and the legs fold up so it doesn't take up as much space when you aren't using it. My favorite bike dealer sold me one of these for $150 because I buy a lot of stuff from him, and he just wanted to give me a good deal on something. I was looking to buy a cheaper stand, but the price reeled me in. I am glad I bought it. This stand is perfect for me. Very heavy duty for a home stand, and adjusts so you can get the bike up high so you can work on it without bending over.
