A magnet at the bottom of the Cyclone’s solvent reservoir draws particles scrubbed from the chain, effectively keeping them from being redistributed on the chain during cleaning. Durable sponge material draws solvent from the chain as it exits the Cyclone, reducing drips and mess. To make it easy to control and use, we’ve even added a handle. Works with all multi-speed bikes and some single-speed models. | | | Features: | |

Works for a bit...Jun 06, 2010 I was really impressed with this device the first couple of uses. Then I dropped it and part of it chipped. Then parts of it started to rust. Then some of the pins come out from the spinning brushes. So, overall it's great until you break it in.

bike chain cleanerJun 06, 2010 It works so so, but you could obtain the same results just by spraying on a solvent and using a $2.00 parts cleaning brush. I also found that just spraying the chain with an autmotive brake cleaner works just as well. This item is a waste of money.
Cleans pretty wellMay 23, 2010 I used it to clean the chains on 2 lightly used mtn bikes for the first time in over 8 years. I used mineral spirits as the cleaning solvent (much cheaper than the "recommended" cleaning solution) and 2 fluid changes per bike. It got the job done. The brushes look like the took a pretty good beating even with just 2 uses, so they may need to be replaced fairly frequently. Good thing they sell the replacement brush kit separately. I've seen some knockoffs being sold for less, but with the amount of friction and vibration that a bike chain puts on this, I'm glad I got the name brand.
Broke on first use...Apr 24, 2010 I've used chain cleaners before, so I was very disappointed when it broke during its first use. It does thoroughly clean the chain, but the clips that hold the lid in place are 'WAY too tight. If you buy one, you may want to relax the wire clips before use. I will replace it with Nashbar's chain cleaner.[...]
Satisfied customerFeb 18, 2010 This item was purchased as gift, so I can't comment on it as a product itself, but the company was a pleasure to work with. Shipped and received in two days from ordering!
