Quality Touring TireJun 27, 2010
By Jack Mac Bottom line: My first pair I rode for 3500 miles in 3 years with no flats or issues. I purchased my first pair to ride from Minneapolis to Toronto as they were highly recommended by another X-C rider. Some observations to share, at 105 PSI they crown high so I ride them at 90 PSI when riding around town. For fully loaded X-C touring, I ride them at 80 PSI allowing me a more comfortable ride without sacrificing any maneuverability, stability or balance.
A great touring/road tire for the money.

a little smallMay 01, 2012
By Chris These tires are great and have held up great so far but they seem to run a little narrow. I got the 70x28 and they are about the same as my 700x25's in the width but they have more volume overall. This could be a good thing if you are short on clearance.

Outstanding road tireJan 17, 2012
By smooooooth These tires are a great size for recreational riding on paved surface. Not too fat and slow, not too skinny and harsh. Quick and comfy. High quality construction. Tour Guard protection is probably not needed, but since I don't intend to race these, I don't mind the additional weight. Factor in the folding bead and the tire is still relatively light.
Most flats are caused by under inflation (snake bite/pinch flat) or over inflation (especially on crummy old steel wheels without a bead groove). Also, worn rim strips often contribute to tires that wont stay inflated. Only occasionally have I had a flat due to an actual puncture.
These tires ride great and the tan sidewall looks good on a classically styled road bike.
Outstanding touring tire - at reasonble costJan 19, 2012
By Philadelphia The Pasela "tour-guard" is a superb touring tire. The tire has a very sure-footed yet supple ride quality, no doubt owing to the belted tread and the exceptionally pliable side walls. (I can see how the latter is a bit of a compromise for durability, but unless you're riding on coal-slag, it's probably not a huge issue.)
Peace of mindMar 24, 2010
By Y. Chih This product is exectly what I need since I was suffering the "broken" tube many times on the way of cycling. The deal went through perfectly - delivery, quality, and the cost! Love it!
