Looks good, sounds clear, not-so-good lever travelAug 23, 2007
By cyclingamateur Good little bell. Looks well constructed, and matches black handlebars well. The bell dings in a 1-2 fashion - when you pull the lever and release it. Moderately loud from my riding position, though I have had pedestrians not notice my bell a number of times, which might not be the fault of the bell. I prefer the classic continuous bell tone, though, so if you are a fan of that you might want to steer away from this one.
The clever lever is a nifty feature that allows you to orient the lever's starting position anywhere you want, but one gripe about it is the long travel of the lever to get it to chime. In urgent situations when the bell is needed that travel gets in the way.

Very attractive, great sounding bell.Aug 01, 2008
By William Cummings I ride on a walking track, and use this bell to let others know I am about to pass them. The sound is pleasant and makes people smile when they hear me approach from behind. Walkers tell me that it alerts them and takes away from the startle factor if I passed without warning. Women and children find it particularly appealing.

Nice BellJul 15, 2009

Nice little bell. Does the job. It rings better if you just slowly move the slider up and then back down for a nice 'double' ring.
Bike BellAug 25, 2011
By Rab I purchased the bell for my road bike but the bell bracket would not go around the handle bars, the bars were larger than the bracket. I put the bell on my mountain bike and it works great.

By Ryan B. Meacham A lowed enough bell to warn hikers and other bikers of my approach on gravel trails. However for mountain biking a quick holler before bending a turn is easer and safer. That way you don't end up loosing your grip while searching for the bell. It is a little on the large side but made well.
