works great!Jul 29, 2009

I've been using mine for nearly ten months, commuting daily with reasonably heavy loads, and I've never had a problem. The backpack straps are strong for when I am not using the bike, and it has never fallen off or come loose while riding. It works great when it is raining, snowing and miserable out, including in subzero temperatures. My bike doesn't have a place to attach a traditional rack, and I've found keeping it as low as possible has helped with clearance issues.

Hard to use, not very firmApr 14, 2009
By David S. Ramirez Salcido Pros:
-Lot of room for your stuff and when riding with a 15.5 laptop, a set of bike tools, my lunch, a "U" bike lock and a bunch of other things can get very comfortable
-you wont really feel anything, the first days I even had to look back to see if the thing was still there.
-Good heel clearance
Cons:
-The plastic mountings don't feel firm enough, also they're kind of ugly, and came with no instructions at all.
-There's a curvature inside the laptop sleeve (with a metal bar in the middle) that makes hard to enter your laptop.
-The pannier itself is really hard to put in place and a bump in the road or a small heel tap can set one of the bottom hooks loose (it won't fall but it may start touching the back wheel).
-The backpack straps that are not really removable you have to fight the pannier to get them in and out of a small zipper and they feel just to soft and week, also you may feel weird wearing a backpack with a hole in the middle (it doesn't disappear completely when in backpack mode).
I'd recomend to try a standard Rack mount pannier unless there's really no way for you to install a rack.
TIP: the closer the angle between the seat tube and the seat stays is to 180 degrees the better fit you'll have with this pannier.
I ride a 2000 Specialized Allez Sport (54cm).
