So far so good, same quality as you would get on a trusted name brand(trek, etc.) entry level mountain bike. Nice, deep treads that bite down well. I had factory xc type tires on my bike before that rolled a little bit faster than this but i mostly ride on single track and they seem to grab on the trail pretty well with good cornering. May not last forever and may get a few flats here and there, I suggest tire liners with these tires.

Pro: Really good looking tread aesthetics (look more expensive than you think!), grip very well on the road (low friction!) and on the dirt, have not yet tried out in the rain and mud but I'm quite certain the tread will dig in nicely for the needed traction.

Cons: tread may actually wear out very quickly because there are not that many knobs in the center rolling portion of the tire.

other thoughts: was a very tight fit, my fingers are sore squeezing this thing on the rim. I assume that it would be just as difficult pulling it off! regardless, this is the tire I would buy again!

You cant beat these tires for the price. They get great traction on dirt and mud.

Good tire for the money. Im a cheapie and this tire rocks for what you spend. You cannot find a better more aggresive front tire for the money. I went local and could not find anything close. It is a Kenda so you cannot go wrong. Also running the rear matching Kenda tire which kicks butt too. Cheers.

5Fantastic in snowDec 15, 2010

I bought a pair of these to put on my snow/ice bike. The ample negative space between the nubs allows the snow to be released before they contact the ground again. They do a fantastic job on the packed & loose snow on the sidewalk and through the slush and muck in the curb lane. I installed 1/4" screw studs in the front tire to get proper grip on ice. I can't imagine a more expensive tire could do a better job.
