KMC makes awesome chains and the rust resistant feature is great! I commute by bike to work and this chain makes my ride way smoother. Won't go with another brand of chain.

The coating on the chain seems to come off easily as others have noted but i cant comment on how long it will protect it from rust as i live in Ca and have only had it for a few weeks. Dont people lube their drivetrains these days?
I bought it for my old schwinn tandem, the chain that connects the captain to the stoker and this was the cheapest 1/8 option that wasn't some fruity rainbow color.

It's decent for a cheapo chain. I wouldn't bother getting the Rust Buster version next time around though, it seems like just silver paint and it comes right off on your hands.
