worth the pricey tagAug 31, 2009

the seat strap packs seem very popular, but i think this frame pack is far more practical
1) reachable and easily accessible, even while driving 2) it the perfect size.. its not bulky yet has enough room for everything: phone, keys, tools, money and alot more.. .. btw it has two seperate compartments.. somethin that doesnt show in the product picture.. i find that very nice, i don like to mix scratchables with scratchees 3) it straps to the bike easily .. no problem there... and quite stable on the road 4) its out of your way.. meaning it doesnt bother me peddling 5) looks sturdy

too big for smaller bikes, but it's a great packNov 29, 2009
By Reb It's a well constructed pack, with plenty of room for your phone, keys, bike tools, pump, etc. It's just too big for a smaller sized frame. I ride a Marin San Rafael 15", and the bag is just too big to fit comfortably. Forget having a bottle cage attached if you try to use this pack, the pack takes up every bit of space, and sticks out far enough on the sides to rub on my legs while I ride. If you have a bigger bike, this bag is great, but on smaller bikes, pass on it.

Great productJun 30, 2007

The Jandd frame pack has been exactly what I sought when I made the purchase. It allows me to get rid of other smaller bags (wedge bags, Bento boxes). The only "issue" I've had is that the frame pack is larger than I expected. It fits perfectly on my 58 road bike frame but is too large for a small-frame (50-52) triathlon bike. Other than that, it's great.

Would be perfect if it used velcro for the downtube strapsAug 22, 2010
By Colin McNamara I purchased the Jandd frame pack for self supported double centuries. My goal was to provide a place to stick a couple pounds of Perpetuem in it, as well as battery packs for my lights. It works really well except two negative things. 1. When climbing out of the saddle, your knees will rub it. It isn't THAT bad on a double, but I supposed on a 600k that this may cause some chaffing issues. 2. The straps that cinch it to the down tube are plastic. If you don't cinch it down super tight you will get the most annoying rattle on earth. - SUPER TECH FIX - I applied some double stick tape (the foam type) and that takes care of the ratttle.

DIMENSIONS OF BAGAug 31, 2011
By William P. Sturm The dimensions of the Jandd Frame Bag are as follows: 15" top tube length 3" head tube length 5" down tube length 14" bottom of bag 2.5-3.0" width of bag all dimensions are approximate I found that the bag will hold a set of tights and a long sleeve jersey or my rain jacket but not both. The bag is not really a large bag but sort of a medium size, I would say. I got it to take clothing with me on days that are both warm & cold so I can put on & take off clothes. To make room for the bag, I got a Minoura seat mounted water bottle holder for 2 bottles that fits right behind my seat so that the frame bag can take up as much space as necessary under my top tube. As noted in another review, the bag has 2 pockets, one on each side: a big pocket and a small pocket. The big pocket holds my clothes; the small pocket is great for thin stuff, like credit cards, money, ID, etc.; you can't stuff the bag too full or it'll bulge out and hit your legs while pedaling (I put a heavy book on the bag when filled to sqush it some before mounting it on my bike); the bag is very light for its size; it appears to be at least water resistant & maybe water proof or close to it; the downtube straps are a pain; the straps are slightly bigger than the buckle and the square ends would not fit easily through the buckle so I cut the strap ends in the form of an arrow and now they fit. But it would have been much easier to manage if Jandd had just made the straps of velcro. I have a Felt F70 road bike, 58 cm and the bag fits fine on it. The bag does not displace my down tube water bottle but the bottle is hard to use while moving because you have to move the bag out of the way. My seat tube water bottle is not affected at all.
