This would be one of the lightest saddles you can get under a couple of hundred bucks. It is listed at 169 grams on the box. The saddle itself is longer than average, providing the user with more surface to adjust on during each ride. The mid section curves down towards the slightly flexible edges, saving the inner thighs from much friction and skin burns.

5Love itDec 30, 2010

A saddle is a very personal thing. I love this saddle though. It isn't too soft, the shape is just right. It also looks really sharp on my white + red bike. I added some Fizik white bar tape and the bike looks amazing.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to their saddle finder on their website. Their website makes it sound like you need to be in perfect shape to use the Ariones. Unfortunately the other Fiziks have more padding. I don't know about you but I hate to have a lot of padding getting in the way. If you were sitting in a really upright position maybe it would be another matter. If you ride in a more aggressive position, stick with the least padding.

One of the lightest saddles you can buy, great fit for me but saddles are really a personal preference, if you know cycling you know what I'm talking about there is no one saddle for everyone.

Really nice lookin saddle! Ten times better than my previous "Scott" saddle. Feels a lot longer also, so it's going to make longer rides much more comfortable. The price was way cheaper here also, and I could not find one this color anywhere else. Got here super fast too.

I'm a beginning cyclist and wanted to try a really good saddle so decided to try out the Fizik Arione. Some people choose saddles for a certain look or a certain feel. I didn't spend much time worrying about the feel of it before I purchased this but to my surprise this saddle did not disappoint. This saddle is comfortable enough for me, I weigh 160 lbs and measure 5'10". I definitely felt a difference in the amount of power transfer the first time I rode this saddle.

I naturally have large thighs (from the amount of cycling I've been doing they've gotten large) so I wanted a saddle that didn't get in the way of them. The saddle wings don't seem to get in the way of my thighs at all, while still leaving the rest of the seat to provide a large amount of surface area for my rear-end. I can't say much about the "wing-flex technology" since I've only been riding for a little while but I'll probably switch back to my old saddle for comparison. This saddle is also longer than traditional saddles. When I move back in the saddle I'm surprised at the amount of room I still have left in the back. It's also really light at 205g and looks super sexy and sleek on my matching red and white frame.

The K:ium rails seem strong and have a shiny finish, the rail markings do rub off easily though.

I'm extremely satisfied with this saddle and for only $92.99 on Amazon! Who could pass up that offer when MSRP is $170?! Get 'em while they last.
