Elite Fluid Primo Wireless - a great trainerJan 07, 2010

I got my trainer from Mountain Equipment Coop (MEC.ca) and thought the price was a bit high, but I've been really happy with it. It lets me train in the basement on cold, wet and dark winter days.
Set up was really easy for this trainer and entering information in the wireless computer was straightforward. The unit folds flat when not in use and it's easy to get the bike on and off the trainer.
The unit is very quiet. You get good rolling resistance and the unit is still pretty quiet.
The computer gives you current information, average information and totals for time, max speed and max power. The most useful feature on the computer is the power reading. You get great feedback on your actual power output and this lends itself to creating training programmes based on average power output over a given period (20 mins, 30 mins, 60 mins, etc).
