Good but beware of PictureAug 22, 2010

The tires are great and I have no qualms but the picture is inaccurate. These are GUM WALL tires, the picture shows a black wall but these tires have a old school gum wall (sand color)

HorribleJul 11, 2011
By Stephen I thought I would save some money and purchase a cheap tire. Never bought a wirebead tire but after spending so much money for all my triathlon gear, i thought I could buy a cheap training tire. First, the tire had to stretch out before I can fully inflate my tube but I learned that the hard way because it blew a tube when it reached 90 psi. I then inflated the tube to 80 psi so that the tire can stretch out. After the new day, I inflated it to 100 psi and rode on it for 5 minutes. When I left the bike, the tube pooped again. Checked the rim for any spokes and there weren't any issues. Bought a more expensive tire and didn't have any problems. Bottom line: not worth the savings. You get what you pay for.

Good tires, great price, but they wear fastJul 30, 2010
By Paul J. Butry The title says it all. The price was great for these tires, and so far they've not had a flat. But, they seem to be wearing quickly. I've hit some stones and larger cracks in the road and they took it all in stride. I'm hoping that they'll last the season. If so I'll be pleased with them. If not I won't be.
get what you pay for, tough as nails nylon but great for a beater/commuterMay 22, 2012
By TroutNasty Received in the mail after a couple of weeks, no biggie I expected a long ship time. They have a cool gum sidewall color but also say NYLON in caps. So yeah, I threw them on the Jamis Codis beater bike for commuting instead of my lemond road bike. for the price they are great & ride well, just don't expect a real grippy rubber tire.

By J. Weight This is a cheap tire in price and quality. The tire that came with the bike worked for a couple years, with many hours on a trainer. This tire is falling apart after only a few months on a trainer.
