i actually bought the black wall tire{90 psi). used it all summer on a classic nishiki 10 sp. 27x11/4" rim. comfortable,fast ride on those old 27" tires - i don't know why they changed. i like niagara bike works.

Be Careful With Older Schwinn RimsJan 24, 2011

I bought these tires for a recently purchased 25 year-old Schwinn World Sport road bike. I found that the original Schwinn rims are not totally compatible with standard tires such as these. An internet search showed there is a danger that the tires will slip off the rims when fully inflated. Although these tires are rated at 90 psi, I only inflate them to 70 psi. I found that the ride is both stable and very easy to pedal despite the lower inflation level.

Proof that you don't have spend a fortune to get a good product. My bike riding time is only occasional and this tire serves my level of riding time very well.

I used this tire to replace A Flandria racing bike 10 spd. The tire went on nice and its a high pressure tire. IT fit on nice and the ride was great, the bike is from 70's and the tire(s) on it were in bad condition. These tires are really worth it.
