I have been riding on these for a while now. They are great! They seem plenty strong as I abuse them to the fullest and have yet to even scratch the paint, let alone bend them. One thing you don't notice in the picture is that they are built for Disc or V Brakes, so the sides are not white, they are shiny braking surface. They are still good looking wheel. The front hub seems just slightly too wide for my Marzocchi 44 TST2 Air fork. I have to spread the fork just a hair to get the wheel to fit right, but it seems to be working just fine.

Rims were not trued well. I was able to repair that myself with a spoke wrench. The rims are great looking and very stiff. They were lighter than the thinner originals on my 2005 Giant Sedona DX comfort bike. Great price and performance. My original freehub and was going bad and my local bike shop said I needed heavier duty wheels since I tore up my cassette and chain doing some light to medium offroading. The bike now feels so much more solid and tracks better through the rough stuff. I wasn't interested in getting a hardcore bike since I always ride with my wife and her bike a Sedona DX ladies model is still perfect, but I wanted to beef up my bike with reasonably priced performance parts. These wheels fit that bill. I search the internet for a long time looking for the best fit for my needs. I am very pleased with them I didnt give the 5 stars cause i spent some time truing them.

Just put these on my bike the other day and haven't had a chance to ride on them yet, but the one thing that stuck out was the shoddy seam, particularly on the inside portion of the rim. You can totally see where the rim comes together and there doesn't appear to be any sort of a weld on the inside. I realize that these are cheap rims, but I am concerned that these aren't going to hold up very well. The braking surface (If you plan on using rim brakes) isn't smooth at all either - kind of like a fine corduroy. They are also very heavy.
