Distinct clicking when coasting. Odd, clink/grinding sound when pedaling. Sounds like a bearing is missing, or replaced by a rock of similar size.
Save your time/money and buy quality, NOT THIS.

Great for making a single speed bike that is not fixed. Fairly noisy freewheel action (not obscenely noisy though). Still works and I have left my bike outside for about a year in brutal conditions. About as good of a deal as you will find on a freewheel.

I thought I could install it myself when I bought this item. I didn't know I still need a special tool to unscrew the old one and screw in the new one. This item is new and found it cheapest at Amazon.
